Gold Coast Employer Network Event

On a beautiful July 20 morning, EPIC Gold Coast hosted thirty-five business men and women at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Surfers Paradise, our most recent Employer Network Event. Apart from the great opportunity to showcase the many benefits of engaging with EPIC for employment solutions, those present were inspired into action by our guest speaker Catch Blackburn. Feedback from the business people was overwhelmingly very positive, with Catch encouraging them to focus on such things as their reason why, the plan and marketing, just to name a few. At the end of the event a number of those present got to enjoy one of the many sponsored giveaways including an iPad.

EPIC Assistance

EPIC team member Erickson Ilustre together with his partner sponsor Ut-utan (oot-ooo-tan)Primary School which sits snugly in the centre of the rice fields of Sitio Lanao, Bontoc, Mountain Province, Philippines. The school tended by four staff, accommodates 76 students from kindergarten through to grade three. At the beginning of each school year, Erickson and his partner provide the children with a school starter pack. Most of the parents of the children are farmers who work the rice fields or small backyard farms, so the starter pack is of great help to them. This year EPIC assisted ensuring an easier start to the school year. One of the teachers described how wonderful it is to see the children in their EPIC hats and EPIC sling bags crossing the rice fields in Bontoc.
